Reduce

We need to reduce our amount of waste

we produce too much waste.I don't know how we used to live without plastic. everything is plastic. look at the Garbage patch.
it is
disgusting
Be the change, stop this from getting worse
-It is killing our animals
-It is polluting our oceans
-It is destroying ecosystems
-It is contributing global warming

Help me stop it from being worse, Be the change.

How to help the world

We can help the world by using the 3 R`s.

Reuse your paper,

If you only used it on one side call it goos (good on one side) paper, keep a goos paper box in your house so you can have a quick piece of scrap paper when needed instead of throwing it directly in the recycle, and using more paper.
Environment ninja

Also you can ...
-stop buying plastic
-kids don't need too many toys
-turn off the water while you brush your teeth
-and do not litter

Recycle

Recycle, we all know what it means, or do we?

What is recycling? What does it mean? Why do we recycle? Why is recycling good? How do you recycle? What are some ways to recycle?

We recycle to help the Earth, but do you really know why we recycle? Recycling makes us feel good, it makes us feel good because we are helping the Earth. as wiki answers says

Recycling is a form of reuse that requires changing or reprocessing an item or natural resource.

in my own words I say recycling is when we

          help the world
                            by
                       making a good choise,
                                                   and
send off our plastics, papers, and
                                                                                                 glass
To somewhere it can be made into something new, Instead off sending it to a landfill to hurt the Earth.

I think we all should try harder to help the Earth be a better place.

what is the great pacific garbage patch?

The great pacific garbage patch was formed by ocean currents. Ocean currents are also the reason it is still there. The ocean currents carry floating plastic/garbage to a certain spot known as the Garbage Patch.

Why is the worlds largest garbage dump in the pacific ocean?

The garbage patch is larger than the state of Texas!

The garbage patch is bad for marine life, fishing, and tourism.

We need to help our marine life, they are dyeing, because of our plastic products on land, because of our carelessness with our garbage. Why should they pay for our mistakes? We need to stop making our mistakes.

we can do that by using the 3 R's

The Great Pacific Garbage Patch

Plastic. It never  breaks down. It just breaks into smaller and smaller pieces.
The great pacific garbage patch is the biggest garbage dump in the world. Mostly plastic is in this dump. Animals are eating this plastic, we eat those animals!

More plastic than plankton? This must be stopped. It will just go downhill from here.

How do we stop this? We need to stop making plastic, We need to reduce, reuse, and recycle , Stop using plastics. They are harmful, not only to the environment, but for us, for the WORLD. Plastics contain BPA, and chemicals. Eating out of plastic makes people unhealthy, and sick, it contributes to cancer! Making plastics contributes to global warming. We make plastic in factories, factories release chemicals into the air, which mixes into the water table. We drink that water! We are making ourselves sick. We need to stop this.
 Fix this problem

                              Stop buying plastic!

We need to help ourselves.
       We started it,
              We need to finish it.
